How funding works

We originate. Partners underwrite. You stay in the file.

This office is a funding consultancy. Capital, when it exists, comes from underwriting partners. We do not sit on a pile of money and we do not pretend to.

Chadwick Twillman runs Great Lakes Capital Desk from Michigan. The franchise home office is elsewhere. This site is the local desk.

You talk to us first. We decide whether the file belongs on Track A or Track B. We prepare what partners actually underwrite. They issue a yes, a no, or a request for more. We are paid when a program is executed and closed.

That is the whole machine. There is no “pre-approval” theater and no rate on the homepage, because a rate that is not tied to a file is an advertisement.

What we take to a partner

Time in business. Personal credit on the file. Use of funds. Revenue that can be shown. Ownership that matches the documents. If a credit partner or an aged corporation is part of the structure, that fact is on the table — in the conversation, and in the package.

What we will not do

Guarantee approval. Pull credit from a public form. Hide a partner. Dress an aged entity as if you had been operating it for years. Shop consumer debt. Talk over owners who will not discuss credit.

The desk process

Fit call, then a track, then a file.

01

Fit call

Fifteen minutes. We confirm company age, credit band, use of funds, and whether this desk is the right room.

02

Track selection

Track A if the file already looks fundable. Track B if a disclosed credit partner or aged corporation is the honest path.

03

File prep

We gather what underwriting actually asks for. You authorize any credit pull in writing. Nothing is pulled on a public form.

04

Partner underwriting

The file goes to underwriting partners. They decide. We stay on the file until it is executed and closed — or declined, with a straight answer.

From the file

Operators who already ran a file through this desk.

Straight talk. Disclosed structure. A partner decision — not a promise printed on a homepage.

  • Fifteen minutes in I knew whether I had a file or a delay. First honest conversation I had with anyone in this space.

  • Credit was the blocker. He did not dress it up. We brought a disclosed partner onto the file and underwriting actually started.

  • I wanted a local desk that still knew how national partners underwrite. He runs it like a closer, not a brochure.

Next step

Bring the facts. We will tell you which track they belong on.

Fifteen minutes. No theater. We map Track A or Track B, or we tell you this desk is not the right room.
