FAQ

Short answers. The call is for the rest.

If a question is not here, it is probably a file question. Those belong on a fit call, not in a brochure.

Are you a lender?

No. Great Lakes Capital Desk is a funding consultancy and a Wilshire Financial Group franchise office. Capital, when available, is through underwriting partners. We are not a bank, not a lender of record, and not a credit-repair company.

Do you guarantee funding or a rate?

No. Nothing is guaranteed — not approval, not timing, not terms. Partners underwrite. Documentation, credit, and use of funds all matter. Anyone who promises a yes before a file is reviewed is selling something else.

What is Track A?

The fastest path. The operating company is at least three years old, and someone on the file has personal credit around 720 or better. That is the cleanest profile we take to partners. It is still subject to underwriting.

What is Track B?

If the company is newer than three years, or credit is the blocker, we can still help in two disclosed ways: introduce a credit partner who may join the file for a small percentage, and/or you can purchase an aged / shelf corporation so the entity has seasoning. Both must be disclosed to underwriting. We will not structure a file to hide control or history.

Is a credit partner a way to hide my credit?

No. A credit partner joins the file. Their credit is on it. Their role is disclosed. They are compensated. If you want someone silent in the background, this desk will not run that.

Are aged corporations a way to fake time in business?

No. An aged or shelf corporation is a real entity with seasoning that you may purchase. Ownership, control, and history have to be told straight to the underwriting partner. Using one to misrepresent who has been operating the business is not a product we offer.

Do you pull credit from this website?

No. This site never asks for a Social Security number, date of birth, or a credit-report upload. A credit pull, if needed later, requires a separate, documented authorization.

Do you only work in Michigan?

Michigan is home. Manufacturing, auto supply, trades, clinics, and logistics here are the core. We also work with the same profile of owner in all 50 states.

Who is this not for?

Consumer debt. Payday energy. Anyone shopping “guaranteed approval.” Anyone who will not discuss credit honestly. Startups with no operating history who also refuse Track B structure.

How are you paid?

This office is paid when a partnered program is executed and closed. The fit call is a fit call, not an invoice.

What happens on the fit call?

We talk company age, credit band, revenue, and use of funds. We pick Track A or Track B or we tell you this is not a fit. Fifteen minutes. You can call instead of booking if you prefer.

Will you work a file that is not yet formed?

A company that is not formed is not Track A. Track B tools may still be discussed if you are open to a disclosed structure. If you are not, this office is not the right desk yet.

CallBook

We are not a lender. Programs are subject to underwriting, documentation, and approval. Credit partners and aged entities, when used, must be disclosed.
